If you don't mind hanging around for a good deal keep your eyes on: http://scan.co.uk/todayonly/ and http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials they often have deals on such things.

right mate ..I have just upgraded my mobo/cpu/memory and have a Asus socket A mobo/AMD athlon 2500/radeon 7500 graphics card that I could sell you for a very reasonable price..PM me if you're interested and we can discuss price.

Generally prices are so tight that there isn't really a great saving on a bundle. I'm guessing you want CPU-motherboard and ram (are you happy with on-board graphics for now?). I'd strongly recommend getting a dual-core CPU and a DDR2,PCI-E system if you can afford it.

Good basic system would be an AMD X2-3800 (£40), 2x512Mb sticks of ram (£24) and a mATX AM2 motherboard with onboard nvidia 6100 graphics (£28). This will cost around £93 delivered from ebuyer, it may be cheaper elsewhere but unlikely by a large amount. Be warned you may need to get a new PSU also as most new motherboards require ATX 2.0 spec PSU.

The setup currychops has (providing it has enough memory) may be a better alternative depending on what you already have, and an Athlon XP 2500+/Radeon 7500 is perfectly adequate for light to normal desktop use (not gaming) on XP.

well I really want to see it complete with the CPU/memory and graphics card and was hoping for something like £50 for the lot.
