Looking for a adult mens mountain bike, for general amateur road and a little offroad use and hopefully c2c cycle. Seen the deal on the giant yukon 3 for £320, but was hoping to pay less, how does it…

Seen the deal on the giant yukon 3 for £320, but was hoping to pay less, how does it compare to say the apollos for around £180?
Also need a good price on a cycle helmet.
Thanks

I would strongly advise against the appolo, in my opinion Giant are the best value around, I've got three Giant bikes and couldn't fault them value for money, got my last yukon from tredz but also worth trying luvbikes and winstanley, just google and you'll find them.
Hope that helps.
PS Dever also good!

Probably a medium, I'm 6'2" and have the L on my road bike and XL on the mountain bikes, theres plenty of adjustment in the seat post so you can pretty much taylor fit.

2nd that don't buy an appolo, pay a bit extra it will be worth it in the long run as it will last longer & be less likely to break.
If you don't mind 2nd hand you can get some very good bargains on ebay if you keep your eyes peeled towards the early hours :)

I like specialized the best, but have just ordered the marin easypeak reduced from £1300 to £750, what a bargain. With the cycle to work scheme, pay only £375 interest free over a year!!
