I recently bought one from Amazon.co.uk for about £35 delivered. Search their site for "region free"

We bought ours at The Sony Shop and asked them to change it to multi region~he disappeared out the back and it was sorted in a few minutes.
I don't know if they will all do it but it's worth asking.:)

Avoid sony whatever you do, the only product of theirs I would recommend is a digital camera, but I hear the PS3 is also very reliable.

Any cheap £15-20 supermarket deal DVD player will generally play any region and if not unlocking is easy through a handset hack. With DVD players compatibility rules generally are the cheaper the better, sony charge more and add all kinds of protection, a lot of their models require a chip.

I agree with Evilsatan just get a cheapo unit, they usually play everything you can throw at them and they are dirt cheap - some only £10

but if you have a DVDplayer already you may be able to convert it to region free

look on google for DVD hacks :whistling: - usually input a code from your remote and bingo region free :-D

THE PACIFIC DVD1002MK2 THE ASDA SELL FOR £24 HAS A CODE YOU CAN SET TO REGION FREE OR ANY REGION YOU WANT. SEE:- http://www.dvdcodes.net/newCodesAZ/codesP/pacific/PacificDVD1002.php

THE NEWER ONES ALSO HAVE A "PAL60" SETTING SO U.S. NTSC DISC'S DON'T LOOK JUMPY WHILE STILL BEING IN COLOUR.
