MyHermes - Do they cover computer parts?

£0.00 @ myHermes
I can't see they don't cover computer bits in prohibited items for insurance, or am I missing anything? Thanks

Aside from monitors I can't see anything either.

Worst company ever. To avoid insurance claims when no one is in. The driver signs the customers name. This voids insurance claims.

I thought I remember seeing that they don't cover electronics, so that would include computer parts I guess...

Ah okay, perhaps they have updated then. In fairness I hope they have because it use to be silly what was excluded.

It was a while ago when this was but they definitely at one point excluded electronics and computer equipment. If you google it there are plenty of cases where My Hermes have rejected claims because of that sadly.

For example, have a read of this. My Hermes response was that they don't cover electrical goods and even the sender was aware of this: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/couples-ipad-gets-destroyed-post-7334341

Whatever the answer; ensure you take images of the item before packing- then, once it's in the box, take more, and then once it's all packed up take a few final ones. If things go bad. And there's damage/ missing items- they give nowt as compo if you are unable to supply pictures...

Perhaps ask them on Facebook if you use it OP just to clarify, although it may take a few days for them to reply!

I'd rather post hermes than royal snail.
Hermes claim procedure is easy compared to royal snails jump through hoops

I sent my friends graphics cards (worth 160) with no problems
