Why would you make a claim if there is no damage to either party.

You will lose a percentage of your NCD if you claim. Only your insurance can tell you how much.

Your insurance will also go up because your premium before any NCD is applied, will also increase because you have had an accident.

I may be being a bit blonde but why would the other party claim on insurance if no damage was made?

Well if you have admitted liability then you have no defence. Never admit liability under any circumstance regardless whos fault you think it was.

If there was no damage then there should be no need for a claim anyway.

I cannot comment on NCB as i do not protect mine, despite having 10 years. Other than expect your premium to go up next year if a claim is made.

we always protect the NCD as it pays for itself if there is an incident.

as others have stated, why would anyone put in a claim if there was no damage. don't do either of you any good to do that. are you or he stupid eh? oO

opposite party thinks there is damage to bumper.. first they said it was all ok, then thought bumper was bit damage, i have photos and video...

i had informed my insurer as, dnt want to be at fault, and the fact it does affect my insurance if i dont notify them..

this is first time this has happened so i didnt know what to do..

you would have been better off paying for the bumper repair if it was actually damaged. most collision will cause a little bit of damage to the bumper. that way it gets kept out of the insurer's hands. i would suggest you protect your NCD though.
