need 4 x 185 55 15 tyres

I've just noticed my rear rights flat and the other 3 tyres look a bit worse for wear.

I usually end up buying budget tyres at the local garage but living in cornwall they still end up cisting around £50 a tyre.

I'm on a really tight budget with it coming up to Christmas but wondered if there is anywhere online to purchase better tyres that are also great in the wet.

Appreciate any help on this thankyou

Absolutely not. The first number is the width of the tyre you can see if you were standing at the front or the back of the car, the last bit if the size in inches of the wheel and the bit in the middle is how much rubber there is between the road and the wheel. So you can't buy a tyre for a 14" wheel to fit you 15" wheel on your car.

£50 a tyre is a good price to be honest, I'm getting my winter tyres put on in a few days and £10-15 fitting per tyre is the usual rate. How cheap are you expecting if £50 per tyre fitted is too much?

as I said I have no idea about cars but it states in my manual that either can be used but wanted to check with people in the know first.

Thank you for explaining it though :)

I was just hoping for a better quality tyre for a only a bit more money. The tyres I have had fitted in the past have been quite poor quality and are splitting within a year.

It will be either wheel and tyre combo, not a different tyre with a different wheel. Bit like a manual saying any iphone will do but you trying to use an iphone 6 case with an iphone 4
