Don't think you can get 1080p on a 32", Think 37" is the minimum.....

Thanks for letting me know, i never knew that, i was wondering why i couldn't find 1080p on any of the 32" tv's i came across, oh well looks like i will have to have a rethink about the size i want. Thanks again guys

It would be kinda pointless to have such a high-res on a 32" - you'd need to be sitting at 5 feet with 20/20 to see the benefit. There's not really much of a market for that.

Yeah, the typical sizes for that res would be 40 or 42" - typically in the range of £750-£1200+ at the moment. I expect they'll be closer to your price range by Christmas.

You can get a 32" 1080p set but there is only one available currently and not in the uk yet. Agree with it being pretty unnecessary.

Maybe he wants to use it for the better pc resolution or more standard resolution ?

1366X768 is a pain in the ass to set on a 720p set.

1920x1080 is pretty much standard so an easy to set pc resolution.

Id kill for a 1080p 32" screen, ( which are readily available in the US )

Well I don't think this is 1080p, but it is apparently one the best 32" LCD tv's you can buy. It's been awarded 5* Award in What Video & High-Definition TV Magazine - Issue 321 (June/July 2007). Their recommended price for this is £900! But if you use the discount codes for curry's you can get it down to £588.04. The TV is a Panasonic TX32LXD70 :)

And I HIGHLY recommend you take a look at this :) and this one has 100hz

what makes you say that?
on a pc screen you can quite easily tell between 1024x768 and 1280x1024
Surely on a 1080p telly it would be the same, at least if using a pc or games console on it

u can get the dell 27" on ebay about £450.. that 1080p

get a sharp 32" lcd that does 100hz

720p max but looks better than most 1080p panels due to the 100hz processing!
