You have no hope in hell in getting one at that price to be honest... unless its a import of some kind....So hard to get hold of new.

Keep your eye on JohnLewis.com where the basic package is £179 then use the code for £20 off as posted here

Assuming they will get some stock in but you will have to be quick if they get any in.

I was holding out for a £20 JL discount code to get my wii (as i already had £60 of vouchers) but i gave up in the end and got one from dixons for full price

Received mine this morning £174.99

Out of stock at the moment but a good price and not such a well known site so less people checking it everday.

I can certainly say the service I received was great. Ordered Thursday arrived this morning.

Not difficult at all... Buy vouchers from Argos to receive more free vouchers (either get £150 for £15 free or £200 for £20 free) then use these to buy a Wii and get another £10 free voucher. I got a couple last week and they worked out £152 each.

Try checking stock for your local stores online but if that shows they don't have any it might be worth popping in to the store as my local argos had 21 in stock last week but wasn't showing any when trying to reserve and collect online.

Ignore the people trying to put a dampener on this.

I picked one up from HMV today with a choice of two games (FIFA 08 and MySims, I got the latter) and a 1GB SD Wii card for £199.99. They also give you £10 on a Games Reward card, redeemable at any time against any game purchase (any amount).

Sell the game for £30, sell the memory card for £10, you have a Wii for £160 plus £10 off any game purchase in the future.

This site can notify you when a wii is instock. Using this, u have every chance as they are instock quite a lot. It also has John Lewis and so by waiting until John Lewis has stock and using the £20 off code, you could get the wii for £160
Good Luck!

umtimate123,

if you need one quick (before december) I suggest keep your eyes open for stock at RRP levels...

I've managed to get hold of a Wii from Komplett.co.uk for a fiver less than the RRP.... worth checking back as they seem to update stock fairly quickly. The console was an EU one, but Komplett included a EU-UK plug adapter for free. Delivered and working, and with full warranty.
