saw a thread on here about being able to print from your phone

send a lot of myhermes parcel which requires a lot of trips to the library to print the delivery note

however I've read that with wi-fi printers you don't need a pc or laptop connected to it, and you can print from your phone? true, or...?

if so, which one is the cheapest available? im no good with printers, what else would i need to buy for it? (apart from the paper!) I'm only looking to print in black and white btw

Some printers will even print directly from a memory stick.

One point though, cheap to buy printers all cost a lot to run, whereas more expensive printers are cheap to run!!

How much use do you expect to make of it??

My wifes Cannon ink costs the same for a set of 7ml carts as my Epson's set of 35ml carts.

The same holds true for laser printers, many recent "cheap" ones have tiny toners that dont last much longer than a 7ml ink refill, yet cost 10 times as much, 800 pages for £60!!!

Check out toner costs and pages per, before buying anything.

2 toners for the above, each 2600 pages less than £40 delivered for the 2

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322266918812

Avoid any HP printer. Desperate company for customer service.

when did ink become more expensive than petrol?

when did ink become more expensive than petrol?
When manufacturers decided to sell printers as cheap as possible and make money from selling the consumables for them instead.
