not good in DIY and never used a Drill before.

I need to make a few holes in a Cabinet door- don't ask me - OH ideas -

holes need to be atleast 2cm in diameter and I should be able to use this drill to make holes for putting screws on the wall and also to fix a few accessories in the batroom tiles.

Can anyone please help me with getting a decent one with not so bad price- which will do the job.

had a look around here and found these

not sure if I should spend that much to get the job done any hel appreciated

thanks

Hi there.. if you dont want to go all the way through you would maybe need a router.. good luck

Either of the deals will do ya but i'd go for the Dewalt set.

The 12v cordless will drill up to about 25mm in wood and ya have the hammer drill for brick etc.

If ya drilling right through the cabinet doors, do a small pilot hole first then drill from both sides of the door, so ya don't split the surface.

thanks Kermitzbitz and owlass

do you have the option of getting the router along with the Drill or do i need to get one separately?

You need a hole saw for that type of job, www.tooled-up.com/Product.asp?PID=12488&Referrer=Frooglehttp Any type of drill would be fine like this set www.diytools.co.uk/diy/Main/sp-53-3831-78847-draper-14.4v-cordless-combi-hammer-drill-with-2-batteries-and-4-pc-value-tool-kit.asp?iCategoryID1=3831
Hope that helps

Any type wont be fine, and i wouldn't trust that Draper drill to do a decent job in masonry.

Yes i would agree to some extent but to drill some holes in kitchen cabinets it's more than ample, i use DeWalt myself but if it is used occasionaly it should be fine
