How about an Ipod shuffle for £25. They have them at that price refurbed on the Apple website (http://store.apple.com/uk/browse/home/specialdeals/ipod?mco=MTE2ODM)

Are these easy enough to use?last time i bought my gf a old style ipod shuffle i had trouble getting the songs on,wasnt a simple case of copy and paste like most,is it easier now?i didnt get on with the itunes software

Ive recently bought a refurbished ipod shuffle from apple store-1 gb £18.60 inc delivery- a silver one. Im very pleased with it, it looks like its new, in packaging etc. i also found it easy to transfer songs from being downloaded to itunes, then onto the player. i would fully recommend these, I go jogging with mine every day, and they have good sound/quality. x

My daughter has a 1gb Sansa player that I dont think they sell anymore and I had this one which is excellent, easy to use and is a simple drag and drop affair - and your daughter will love the colour!

I would definitely buy something with a screen - I don't know how people manage without one! :-D

I also bought these earphones which come with 3 sets of ear buds - one of them is very small. They are very comfortable and are soft for your ears

7? Just buy her a cheap 1gb one from eBay, the ones with joysticks to skip to next song, volume etc. And a small led screen to show the song.

Excellent price - but for some reason the 4gb version has rather bad reviews, whereas the 2gb one has excellent reviews. It's been like that for the past year anywhere I have looked.

Doubt a 7yo would need 4gb either!

The clip can come off - the whole player is tiny, though, it isn't bulky even with the clip attached

thing is I want to use it to run with so want it in an armband where it is secure, if i have it on my t-shirt it will jump around and I dont want a long cable to put it in my pocket.

so awesome that the clip comes off!

I'm sure the 4gb is fine. i'm not too fussy anyway and i'll only use it at the gym. so as long as it plays music its all good!

Just had a quick read and the problem with the 4gb is that it seems to randomly suddenly no longer be recognised by the computer - as long as you keep the receipt, then no worries

Quite sure I did see an armband for it, maybe on Amazon?

hi its this one

The Samsung YP-U3 MP3 player is a good-compact device that works right out of the box with a Slim-USB connection. The U3 requires no wires or programs to work; simply plug it in a USB port, then drag and drop your music files.

Model U3 YP-U3J

Plays MP3, WMA, OGG, ASF Files
FM Radio with RDS/ Voice recording/ Supports auto mood playlist

Includes Samsung Earphones

Still wrapped and never used.

For Quick sale i am asking for £18.00 Paypal Gift

I have pics if you want them

Seems a fair price, tbh - but am put off by the touch screen and the fact that it's not 'drag and drop' like some mp3 players so will give it a miss, thanks

Have you listed it in the FS forum?

Tesco had a 2GB MP3/MP4 player for £11.80 i think and the 4GB was about £14.50 in sale section. Very small screen to watch video but hey for that price great for music...............
