ive just dug out comp thats been tucked away as i got new one and remember the power went on this aparrently its a psu or something lol so need to replace the power box inside all it states is fsp group fsp-280 and 60pna-1 pf
does anyone know where i can purchase one from so i can replace it im not that up on comps but think it looks quite easy to do? famous last works
pc desktop is a packard bell if that helps alt-co2 if thats a model lol

any new one should be able to do it, theyre pretty much backward compatible try [url]www.ebuyer.com[/url] or [url]www.novatech.com[/url]
but postage will be expensive...
possibly check your local dump or freecycle or something?
but yeah it is easy to do, as long as you get one with the right connectors. Just slide it in, sometimes loosen/tighten a screw and plug all the leads in to the motherboard/hard drive etc

thanks for that well i opened comp and looks staright forward lol cant get on freecycle but ill have look at sites do u have idea on what price i should be paying?

Power supplies suffer from a case of misleading advertising, two power supplies with the same claimed rating can have quite different power outputs in reality.

FSP-280 is likely to mean it's by Fortran Sparkle power and is 280W. FSP is a good brand so a good quality ~300W power supply would be a good replacement, expect to pay around £30.

if this is posted for me then yes 1 is still available but at £13 delivered as its quite heavy and more expensive than i initially thought it would be to post.
