Need a new Toothbrush!

Hi All,

My existing electric toothbrush is finally on it's last legs, so I'm looking for a new one.

I checked out these Sonicare ones in Boots and they look the biz. I seem to have missed a lot of hot deals before Xmas :x, but wonder if anyone has seen any deals available at the moment?

I'd prefer not to get the base model, but then again, I don't want to spend £130 on a toothbrush :o

TIA All,

I am in the same predicement as you!!!!

I already own a Sonicare, and missed out on the offers at Amazon and Makro!!!!! The head needs replacing, but if it's gonna cost £20+ for a new brush head, or maybe £40+ for a new toothbrush, I would prefer to wait.

However, I have still not seen any offers!!!!!!!

I used to work for Philips, so I wouldn't be worried about getting the base model. As long as it's got the timer on there, that's all you need!

Can anyone help us to improve our dental hygeine???????

Not sure about toothbrushes but I bought an oral-b Hummingbird the other day. Basically an electric flosser. Really good! And only cost about a fiver!

i know this sounds silly BUT check out tesco, they do a 'kids' electric tooth brush for £3 that has a nice small head, ive used them for around a year, batterys last around 3 weeks and i find it better than my other halfs oral b electric as the head is nice and small ! cheap too :)

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!

@sofiamary - Had a quick look at Boots, but unfortunately didn't manage to find anything. Thanks for looking out though.

@birdyboyuk - Nice! Double entendre is clearly your speciality looking at your powerball records :thumbsup:

I'll check out the other suggestions when I'm not at work!

In the mean time, if anyone does spot any more, keep us all in the know!

I think this is a good price for a good toothbrush click £32.99 at Amazon.
Braun oral B(my very expensive:x dentist recommends these) 40,000 pulsations per min(ooh err!) and 8800 oscillations per min.

What i like about the braun ones is the variety of heads that you can get,the standard ones, ones with polishing cups, interdentals etc.

hope this helps
