Will be in London town for the night of Thursday 28th August.

Need accommodation for 2 tired parents, and 3 whingeing kids.

Don't really care where as we will be central based but armed with tube tickets, so not too worried.

Any help appreciated ;)

Travelodge is as good as any in London and usually a lot cheaper - we go on friday and got a family Room for £29 a night!

You need to book in advance for those kind of prices but I have just looked and you can get rooms at the Travelodge London Southwark for the 28th at £76 per room - Family rooms only take upto 4 people so with five you'll need two rooms or sneak your 3rd child into the one family room after check-in and squeeze up in bed!

Very close to Southwark tube station.

here's a tip
The Tube Workers have voted for a 72 hour strike beginning on Wednesday and you are choosing peak periods for hotels with it being Bank Holiday on the 25th and it being the last week of the school holidays.

Sorry to put a dampener.

OH BIG FAT HAIRY ONES !!!!!!!!

Have booked an Emirates tour for that day for my son. No choice now, we're going.
Lets hope the strike is called off.

Thanks for the heads up though.
