does google calender notify about task on monthly and weekly?
as for me you enter manually very week or monthly?
anyway i will look into settings
thanks

Yes, you can update it on your phone/computer/tablet for a host of options. I've got several calendars on the go that include;

Birthdays, anniversaries and important events
Bank holidays (there's one already available through the calendar app)
My work hours including overtime I've signed up for, days I've booked off and any days where I'm doing something different for the day

You can set it up to put monthly/daily/weekly entries and set a host of reminders for these events eg. wedding anniversary you can set a reminder to pop up on your phone a week beforehand to ensure you know it's coming up and that your gift arrived, then another 2 days beforehand to make sure you wrote the card ready, an email 24hours in advance as a last ditch confirmation that you have it all in hand.

Overall it's very powerful as a tool. I'd recommend you split things across several calendars to keep items separate as it makes it easier to manage rather than all being in one. As if you're trying to work out about bills it's easy to then just look at the bill calendar.

It also lets you set one off reminders easily for things like putting the washing machine on before going to work.

Google calendar is superb. Custom reminders, notifications via pop and email. Syncs with pc and all devices. Just St up a new Google account if you don't want it integrated with your main one

Wife 1.0 .The expensive software also provides incessant notifications in a loud annoying nagging voice. Of course now superseded by it's successor Girlfriend 1.0 , but sadly the costs annually have substantially increased with added optional extras. Check out Single 1.1 but that means continual inputting, and scheduling the errands for life but doesn't come with additional baggage.

Also find this widget is great on my homescreen for keeping up to date with my calendar as you can see a lot more into the future than the standard google one so very easy to notice important things as they are up and coming.

I have set google calendar to email before but i have not seen a popup option.
Is that new?
or does it only popup on a desktop PC?

I use Google Keep. And it can also be installed on your Windows desktop / laptop thanks to Chrome apps.

Works in firefox for me on my computers and also on my phone. Not sure what else it may/may not work on.
