Good day. I bought DELL Inspiron 15 - 7000 Series - 7537 Laptop in Jan 2014 for my daughter. The laptop Motherboard has been changed by DELL last year due to OS (Win 10) and hardware issues. Now, my daughter is having the problem with the laptop as follows:
01. The Touchpad is not working
02. At times, the keyboard keys do not work and she has to reboot the laptop.
03. The laptop is now running on Win 8.
The laptop is out of warranty now. We tried by installing the old drivers (I have the recovery USB, created at the time on installing and prepared the system ready in Jan 2014) but no luck. We reloaded the OS, installed latest drivers plenty of times during the past 10 months and finally contacted DELL and they say that mother board need to be changed (Dell team suggested over telephone/remote diagnosis) and I am not sure whether it is the right solution.
Can any of you be able to let me know what could be a better solution in this case and also any hardware specialist to resolve this in London.
