Hi,

I need a laptop to be able to use the GoPro Desktop app so I can edit my videos. My budget is £350 but ideally want to pay less than £300.

I know this won't get me a beast but so long as I can edit 1080p video's I don't care about anything else as I'm not a laptop gamer.

Here are a couple I've found:

http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/lenovo-z50-75-amd-fx-7500-8gb-1tb-dvd-sm-15.6-inch-windows-10-laptop-80ec00mfuk/version.asp#gbp

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-310-15-6-laptop-white-10146132-pdt.html

Will these do the job? Which one is a better laptop? Also are there any better deals?

Any help is welcome as I have spent hour's trying to find one and just can't decide.

Thank You

I know it's best to have a dedicated graphics card but the price jumps alot when you do have one. if anybody knows a laptop that will definitely do the job for less than £400 I will be over the moon.

I think you'll be pushing it to be honest. And if you do find one that will run it it isn't likely to run it very well. Video editing is very processor hungry and will be sloooow as anything without some power behind it. I bought a laptop for video editing at the beginning of the year and couldn't find anything half decent below £650.

Wow £650 is way outta my league. I've been looking at some refurbished laptops at LaptopDirect and saw this:

I've decided to increase my budget to £500 as after some research I know anything less than an i7 or a10 quad core processor simply won't do :(

Do peeps know a laptop within my budget that will do the job?

By a pc instead. More grunt for your money.

Agreed, if budget is tight and mobility isnt a major issue then you will get a lot more performance for your money from a P.C. £350 would get you a P.C that will outperform a £1000 'ultrabook'
