I used Wren kitchens who have superb looking kitchens and the people they sent to fit were quite good. They are a little more pricey than your wickes or b&q kitchens.

I would avoid B&Q, mum had her bathroom done with them and it was a bunch of cowboys who did terrible work. It took months and months to get them to come and fix it properly how it should have been done in the first place

try wren

their installation sales ends the 9th but you can lock in now with a deposit for up to 6 months ahead
their jan winter sale ends end of the month

I went in for a quote myself today, say they will beat any other and had a demonstration area of competitors units to see like for like etc, (not ikea though)

my sister is very happy with her ikea kitchen, does look good has tobe said.

My wife preferred the competitors cabinet in the viewing area!

My aunt had a nightmare using Ikea at Milton Keynes. I would have given up and gone elsewhere but she is very happy with the end result. I wouldn't use them now on the basis of what she told me. Took about 9 months due to both Ikea and their contractors messing her about.

You need a local kitchen fitter, not a jack of all trades, or a joiner, just a bloke who fits kitchens every day.
I fit kitchens for a living and if there's ever a problem then it's rare for the customer to ever know. If there's an issue then I take care it myself, that's what I'm paid to do.

I'd suggest using a local kitchen fitter or a local kitchen firm.

I'd recommend you use a local company,

ha ha which ? Jewson ?

I did quite like some of the wren thicker doors and finishes to be fair, cheaper than I thought they would be
