SHAME so i promised i'd buy a newone before we leave for egypt on the 27th may so im HOPING theres a nice little sale on somewhere??

I dont want EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE - one thats fairly cheap BUT reliable!

so any offers would be mucho appreciated!

i think i may be better off waiting a few days,weeks,months-or so for a HUGGE bargain as the holiday is like 3 and a bit months away, you think?

LOTS of thanks,

Nick

The TomTom One is the entry level TomTom but far from basic. Its an excellent piece of kit. Easy to use and operate. Locks onto a signal quickly and sticks with it. Looks good-nice n slim, and with the Amazon offer it comes with Europe Maps free which is a bargain. Even if you are not going to use the Europe maps it would increase its value on resale at a later date.

Highly recommend it.

Hi, Was it a TomTom that you bought from ebay?
If so, and it will not come on - this is a known "fault".
It can happen if the unit gets confused, or the battery runs out completely.

Plug it into the charger for a while to get some charge into it, then use a paperclip to press the reset button on the bottom of the unit (poke the paperclip through a tiny hole about the size of a pin head - it should be marked 'reset').

Hopefully, your 'dead' TomTom will spring into life. Let us know.

Gareth
