Hi, can anyone recommend where to get the best deals? I've heard that the memory card you need for the CFW can not be of high memory. Is that true or can i buy a 8 Gb like the one on offer for £20.99 (lexar ). I don't know where to buy these items from, i've heard dealextreme sell pandoras battery very cheap but do they work and won't they take a few weeks to get here? I've recently bought a psp 1003 and want to play back ups on it and am trying to work out what i need. I'm wondering what size memory card i should get, and if i can use it to make a magic memory stick and then use the same card for storing my backups etc on? Any help appreciated!!! Thanks

It better to get a memory card thats around 512mb because once the pandora software is loaded on the battery and memory card will become useless for other reasons other than the downgrading. So buying the 8gb would be a big waste of money, furthermore i heard from somewhere that the fakes wont do for the pandora software so you'll probably need an original 512 sony memory stick pro duo. But the pandora kit does work like a charm, i downgraded loads of psp's within 2 minutes with them.

The 8GB Lexar is perfect, or the Micro M2 is a little better than that:

If you are only going to use the kit once, you'd be better off borrowing it.

Fake cards will work, but I would never use them, as when they eventually fail, you will brick your PSP.

None of my mates have the kit so i'm going to have to buy them. Should i get a 512mb for the CTW do you think and also the Lexar for my games and stuff? Thanks
Sorry just checked your link and that memory stick is a fantastic price! Do you think it would pass the magic gate test?

512MB is fine, I use 256mb cards myself.

The Lexar is perfectly fine, so is the Micro M2, I would buy the M2 because it offers a bit more flexibility for the same price.

The M2 is MagicGate supported.
