Have been looking for a netbook with the above spec and finding it really difficult...maybe im just not using google correctly....any way i was hoping that some wizzy computer user would be able to help me find such a note book...not too fussed on processor/mem/hard drive but must have as listed on the title....

maybe my only option will be a note book but thats hard to find as well.....

Your main problem will be the HDMI out. Very few 'smaller' machines have these. I have an Acer One 200 Ferrari, which is considered pretty much top of the netbook league. Has 4gb ram and a dual core processor etc... but that doesn't even have an HDMI out. It's down to them normally not have great graphics cards in them. I can get HDMI on mine, but only if I use an external graphics box (the Ferrari was design to have this as an upgrade option. As it has an XGP port.)

Dell mini 10 is the best i can find, no bluetooth but dongles are dirt cheap and fit almost flush nowadays

Medion E1312 has HDMI
•ATI’s Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics chipset
•HDMI port for those who want to live out the High Definition lifestyle.
•AMD Sempron 210U power-saving processor
•160GB hard drive
•1GB RAM
•6-cell battery (with a 9-cell option)
•1.3-megapixel webcam
•Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity

I think the Dell mini 10 has HDMI as well

sounds good apart from WWAN....also cant seem to find that product on medion website...:?

With low specs like that it will struggle to run anything in HD making the HDMI out pretty much pointless.

HP 311c - I have one, has HDMI out, bluetooth (but not sure about webcam - does have on but don't know if it's 1.3)

Clearly you know better than the manufacture

But then again you bought an overprice acer because it was red :whistling:

£310 was not overpriced fella. And find me a netbook with a better spec for the same price.

mumbojumbo
Dell Mini 10.

As I said above. Without the power HD is gonna suffer.

"But the change of graphics system has allowed a useful upgrade in the shape of an HDMI video output. Most netbooks use VGA analogue out, so when you do want to expand a limited screen with an external monitor, you must make do with fuzzy, soft-focused pictures; the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 meanwhile gives super-sharp rendering on an external screen. The new chip is also supposed to facilitate high-definition video playback. In our tests, though, it struggled with 720p video, let alone 1080p material."

The HP 311c is probably the most powerful of all the ones mentioned here. The graphics can certainly handle 1080p fine. Although I find the processor is a little weak.

Thanks all...seems my best bet is a dell mini 10 with extras to cover all the options needed.....works out at nearly £400......!!!

You want an Acer Aspire 1551, but sadly they won't sell it in the UK.
