i had it about 6 months ago an watched it daily, eventually got rid of is as new content was rare

recently got given a free 6 month trial by virgin media, and there is very little content that is different to what was there 6 months ago

Okay thanks I probably won't bother then. Merry Christmas.

This^
Plus the front end for choosing films and series' is clunky/awkward to the point where I'd get vexed by it. Am now on the lovefilm/amazon prime thing. Much easier to find stuff to watch IMO. Am now non vexed

Depends entirely on whether they have things you want to watch. Ask your friends what they're watching to see if anything sounds like your kind of thing. You can cancel any time. I've been using Netflix for several years, and still find things to watch.

I think it's great, there are a lot of great series available like Breaking Bad, House Of Cards, Orange Is The New Black. The films are decent as well in my opinion. As Bo0td mentions you can always find something to watch and as it's not contract based you can cancel at any point. If in doubt you could try a free 30 day trial, I believe I watched 22 films on my free trial!! Anyway have a Merry Xmas :)

You want US Netflix...

Yup us Netflix has much more content

One plus point is that there isn't any long term commitment. Just sign up and use it as you like (on a monthly basis). Nothing else to watch? Then just cancel your 'subscription'.

It is very good for binge watching of TV Series such as Breaking Bad, Fringe and Homeland.

use your friends account and try it yourself before you commit or just get your friend to upgrade there account and you pay the difference think it only a extra 1 or 2 quid

u can get shared accounts on eBay for a pound . it looks dodgy but I read some people have had months out of them .

I think you should get Netflix it is £5.99 per month and when you watched most of the the things that you like just cancel it.

Try the 30 day free trial and see if it is for you.

This guy is supposed to be the best. You pay £3.99 and never pay again. When 1 code stops working you email him and he provides another. Has some amazing feedback on ebay for this service.
Its only what I have read, as I have never used the service.

That sounds a bit dodgy. Probably supplies a working service but surely illegal.

As others have said, Netflix is only good if it has content you would like to watch. I am a big fan of Sci-Fi, so it has been really good (Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis etc). It's also good for my kids as they have their own profile which only displays child friendly content. For less than 20p a day, it's worth it in my household and is the main source of entertainment on the box,

New content can be few and far between. Try the free trial out and see for yourself, if you decide to sign up, it's a rolling 30 days agreement. You're not put into a year long contract or anything.

Like I said I have never tried it - but you are right if there is a free 30 day trial then I am sure this will help you to know if this is for you.

+1

Dunno if I used same guy, but I also have shared account. Have used on over 10 devices, have shared with a couple friends, I thought he would change it before Xmas, as that's when I ordered it last year. But it is still going strong.

£4, for over a years worth of streaming. I also use xbmc, show films and mobdro. Which are all illegal streaming services. But netflix is convenient as it is supported on all the kids xboxs and iPads.

We have it and the kids love it and my fella watches stuff every night, I don't know how it works but he changes to different countries Netflix which has different stuff on.

Just used US DNS codes for my iPhone and Xbox One Netflix, and its so much better, content is fantastic. UK Netflix is full of 4oD content... for reasons I cannot understand.
