My son is wanting a new laptop.He wants one for his games and has asked for one called alienware.I'm not sure what to buy or where to get the best price.Any help would be appreciated.

You can build the same spec PC for much much cheaper, its the name that you pay for here, out of curiosity how old is your son? dependant on his age will depend on the type of games he's playing therefor the demand on spec, he may want to avoid web browsing on it as it doesnt take long for 'kids' to visit enough sites and download enough rubbish that will cause it to run v slow on demanding games.

He is 15 and plays all sorts of games.Footbal-army - call of duty etc.What website would i goon to biuld my own.Thanks x

Gaming on a laptop?
I know there are gaming laptops, but it just isn't worth the price imo.
For the price of a good Alienware Gaming Laptop, you could build a gaming PC & buy a decent laptop...
If you have the money, maybe then it's feasible/justifiable.

I would just build a desktop gaming PC, it will last much longer (the parts won't age as fast), it'll be more powerful, upgradable, overclockable...

Laptop for portability, Desktop for gaming imo.
