Could it be my isp BT is blocking access. I don't have problems with any other programmes that have been pre- installed. Bought 2nd box thinking first one faulty but just the same outcome. Bought this box on recommendation. One person in uk and another in Spain. They've had no problems.

Mine was the same, most likely the BT hub blocking a new connection. Open the web browser and go to bt hub and either disable the smart thing or click through the parental controls

Yeah it'll be that stupid Bt smart hub setup thingy. I get people asking the same question over and over when certain links don't work on Kodi.
Pretty easy to disable, a quick google search will bring it up then you'll be up and running

Mobdro suddenly stopped working for me on the firestick and my android box. I uninstalled and installed the 'new' version that I found on the Mobdro website and everything is back to normal now.
Maybe your new box has the old version?

Thanks chaps. Seems to have done the job. Slight niggle though, got a Turkish ad flashing at bottom of screen that I can't get rid of.

Thanks Have disabled BT smart tv as directed. Getting almost everything but most importantly the sports. Posted reply on post answer box. Just realised there's a reply box. Apologies
