New PC Buying Help

Just got my student loans and need a new pc for 500-700 quid, looking at this so far;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Galaxy-III-Wireless-QUAD-CORE-EXTREME-GAMING-PC-HDMI_W0QQitemZ290286371785QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_DesktopPCs?hash=item290286371785&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A3|39%3A1|240%3A1318

Needs to run Crysis very well and have a fairly large amount of RAM for Football Manager, other than that i'm not fussed about specs, can anyone suggest others or tell me if that one seems okay?

Also looking at this;

I wouldnt get the second one - not worth it for over £900 - only 3gb RAM. The other has 8gb which is the best you can ever get on a vista system.

I would go with the Ebay one, even though ive not been a big fan of AMD processors but with 10,000 Mhz processor speed you cant complain!

As for playing Crysis you wont have a problem running it on the best setting.

Hope this helped you mate.

First one not bad but the second one is overpriced.

Why don't you build your own?

If I were looking at a gaming rig round that sort of price I'd stat of with:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Socket 775 2.83GHz 1333FSB 12MB L2 Cache OEM Processor
Asus P5Q PRO P45 Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
PowerColor HD 4870 PCS+ Edition 512MB GDDR5 OC Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card

This will cost about £500 then spend the other 200-250 on the other bits.

Then upgrade with another 4870 at a later date.

That should keep you gaming for many years to come.

But Ram is cheap, and 8gb over 4gb wont make any difference to football manger!

Well to get the full windows vista 64 bit "experience" you really need over 4gb, if its under 4gb, you might as well just get 32 bit.

Good choice my friend, i might ask that guy to make me one if he could, £650 is a bargain for what you get IMO.
