I need two new PVC doors (front and back) and was wondering how much they cost and to be fitted without calling out a salesman. Anyone got a rough idea?

It depends on what kind you want, style, colour, glass, locks etc

We bought ours around 8-9 years ago and paid around £550-600 each iirc

I saw an ad in a local paper a couple of weeks ago from a company advertising them from £270 but not sure of details.

Have a quick google for upvc doors in your area :)

We will be looking at new windows soon and thinking of going back to composite doors again, after eating upvc for ages I'm not really impressed with them.

I was going to recommend someone but I think that's just out of their range.

You are incorrect.

do you need the doors or are you just wanting them replaced for a more modern look,if so,you could possibly just replace the actual insert for around £200...you can always pay a visit to your local builders merchant and see if they can recommend anyone as you are not dealing with the larger companys but usually someone who is self employed and usually a good bit cheaper

i would say £1000 supplied and fitted. phone a few companies from the local paper or look on google. stay away from the big companies as they heavily overpriced with good salesmen.
