NEW: Request a Mobile Feature - duckmagicuk2 (MobileHunter)

Hi everybody!

I'm going to give this a go now.

YOU request a phone, and I'll tell you the cheapest I can find it within (hopefully) 48 hours AND THEN update it if I see it cheaper within 7 days of posting.

So DON'T request a phone which has been requested over the last 7 days. If I get a lot of requests then I might not be able to handle it.

*CONTRACTS FOUND WILL BE POSTED IN THE HOT DEALS FORUM*

PHONE MODELS ONLY IN HERE. NO CHIT-CHAT OR ANYTHING ELSE. KEEP IT SIMPLE!

Summary of YOUR post:

You should post the Phone Make and Model AND your maximum price limit.

Rules:

* I can't look for a particular network or tariff, however you can specify a maximum price.

* Please don't post the same deal twice within 14 days.

* Be nice. When I've got a few phones to find it can take a while.

* Before posting the deal I may send you a PM to see if you want the deal (if it doesn't quite fall in your specified price range, for example).

* Be realistic with prices. If you aren't then your deal will be ignored.

* Other rules may be added.

The chaepest I can find is £180 for the term. That's 6 months free line rental. Would you like me to post it? It's a little expensive I think... it may be on offer in a few weeks. PM me with your thoughts.

I'm looking for a good deal on the Sony Ericsson K750i
#8
Thanks for the healp on that one dezignz. I don't mind members chipping in every here-and-there, as long as they know it's a good deal they're posting.

mndl632 - the cheapest K750i is quite expensive at the moment, but I think there'll probably be an offer on one in the near future as the best offers which have been running in the past are expired now.
#9
lol, wasnt trying to help, was seeing if you could find it cheaper anywhere on PAYG.

It's not cheap. You have to buy the phone... it doensn't come with the contract and the phone on its own costs around £200 on the cheapest tarriff and £50 on the dearest (about £75/month). The cheapest is about £400. Do you still want the details? PM me and let me know.

hiya duckmagicuk2,

my hubby needs a pda type phone (one that uses a stylus pref.)
any sort needs to be under £200. It is for using for college.
I've been told about the P800 or P900 and it is along the lines of this he wants, thanks for any help you can give.

we both have 6310i's at moment

Love this idea duckmagicuk2.

I'm also looking for an Orange C550. The best I can find is £170 for the term (including some mins etc). Any advances? I'd consider the PAYG one, but the free stuff/minutes makes the contract one more attractive.

Im looking for a phone on the Vodaphone net work thats really cheap as i only make about £2 worth of calls a week and about 30 texts.

I want a contract one as i used to forget to top up and was always running out of credit.

Dont mind what phone as long as the network is vodaphone.

Thanks :D

i am currently on contract with 3 through dialaphone.co.uk
it was with LG 500 min half price line rental 12.50 with cash back..

Is it possible to maintain the same number and change the network.

im looking for a Nokia 6230 with 500 min anytime any network...

ps:i have seen the posts about free line rental with free phone and quidco and...etc but its not clear to me...could anyone explain it to me please.

Hi there dm2

I've a teenager who wants a samsung E720. I don't mind paying for a contract, but she uses more texts than minutes (believe it or not!).

Thanks in advance

The cheapest I've found is £100 for the whole 12month contract including the phone which is free. The problem is that you get 1000 OffPeak minutes to Orange and Lindlines.

If you're after texts included then you're looking at £160 for the 12 months and you get 1000 OffPeak minutes to o2 and landlines, 25 minutes to other networks and 100 text messages.

If you need any network, any time minutes (also known as X-Net) then you're looking at £180 per month for 200 X-Net minutes and 100 texts.

Anything else gets quite expensive so it may be cheaper just to pay for the texts. You can decide. If you'd like any information on the offers then please PM me and I'll get you the details.

HI,i need:

Nokia 6230
300-400 min X net
NO TEXTs
12 month contract
max £20/month

For the e720, i believe o2 offer it online, however it is fairly steep. The total term cost is £300 but comes with 500 messages every month and 100 xnet minutes.

Sorry, the cheapest I can find exceeds your £20 price limit.

The highest number of minutes I can find for under £20 per month is 1000 off-eak or 200 x-net.

A good deal I spotted though was for just 200 X-net mins with orange, BUT instead of more minutes you get a free bluetooth headset! This costs a little over £14 for bothe the 6230 and the 6230i.

what about just a sim card without phone?

Contracts generally aren't SIM-only. I'll look into it though and get back to you. It may be possible to get another phone on this sort of tarrif though. Do you want me to try that? If so, do you have a "top 5" phones list which I could look up?

If I've missed anybody's request out then I apologise but I slightly lost track. (Eeek!) If you are still awaiting help then please PM me or post here. I'M STILL ACCEPTING REQUESTS.

It's going to cost you I'm afraid. £509 for the full term. If you want, get back in touch in a couple of weeks and I'll let you know if it gets any cheaper (I'll also look to see if I can find it cheaper over the next couple of days)

Sorry your posts keep slipping past me because I missed this original posts. Now then, if you wish you can get a Motorola C975 on "3". After cashback this works out at £0 for the ENTIRE 12 months, and is in my 12 month contract threads. What happens is that you pay the usual rate, and then get cashback from the retailer at month 6 and then month 12. QuidCo cashback isn't necessary, but sometimes means that you can make about £20-£25 profit. You should visit www.quidco.com for instructions on how to do this. Here's what your offer will end up as:

Phone: Motorola C975
Minutes: 500 any time and any network
Texts: 100 (i know you didn't need any, but it's better to have more than you need)
Price: £0 per month!!

If you need more help, or want a different phone then please PM me. I also have details of the LG 8330 which is also on 3 for £8.75 per month. If you don't like any of these 3 phones, then let me know - but they provide the most minutes and texts for the bst price.

Hope this helps

There was an offer which I posted a while back where it cost £175. That offer has now ended. Therefore, the cheapest offer is currently £251.88. If you would like the details then please PM me, however it is probably worth waiting a couple of weeks to see if a better offer comes along. It's still a relatively new phone.
#36
Any more requests? It's died-down a bit but there's a lot of new phones being released at the moment and I was wondering if anybody wants any prices quoting so far...
#37
HeyUp Duck,

I am after a Motorola V3 with cross network mins, i want to know the cheapest available? Also can u tell me the cheapest this phone is available on any provider with any contract, i.e. the most rock bottom price?

Cheers
#38
In the forums there was a Pink one posted by me. Go to that post and click on that exact post. Near the top there's a link to the normal colour. It's £60 (or £40 if you use www.quidco.com ) and it's the rock-bottom price!! If you still want the any network mins quote then PM me and I'll get back to you in this the request thread and by PM.
