I've been getting a few emails lately which say they are an invoice, I just delete them straight away. Just wondered If other people are getting the same also?

Genuine names of companies that I've had no dealings with and I've had one from a Nursing Home.
I get them and do the same as you delete them. Mind you I do that with genuine invoices too ;)
more likely to be virus than scam I would of thought

A relative has had one of these, it does seem to be virus based. Delete and report to your email provider (if possible).
Rule of thumb never open emails if your not sure where they are from.
Theres loads of scam mails doing the rounds especially now its xmas.
You can adjust the title of this thread to just be 'Scam' - it has been going on for years.
There has been a recent influx in these types of e-mails, however your e-mail provider should be filtering these (I see Google is on Gmail).
did you think it said new Spam?
I don't receive any invoices by e-mail - these days everything is pay up front and you get a receipt but not an invoice.

Any e-mail that gives you vague information and says click on this link rings alarm bells for me.

The genuine companies wont ask you to do that.

I got one from Yves Rocher (who I think are banned on here anyway) to my email address and my boyfriend's.

It makes it sound like you've had a bungled Order with them (never ordered from them in my life) but it turns out it's just a Newsletter. He thought I'd been ordering stuff and using his email address!
