Need to get a new suit for work/interviews/job centre/court/weddings/funerals/etc as my current one has done two years of hard service and is starting to shine if you know what I mean?

Suit jacket plus two pairs of suit trousers is what I need.
Saw some companies offer suit plus free extras (shirt/shoes/ties) and whilst a big bonus, these things are less urgent

Have seen lots on offer since the Jan sales started and all seem ok, just wondered if anyone had seen a really good offer somewhere.

I am in Central London so have most shops close to hand.
I got my last suit (Ben Sherman) from TK Maxx for a bargain.

The two trouser thing is that the trousers get loads more wear than the jacket so having two pairs of trousers effectively doubles the life of a suit.

Debenhams got some good offers then?
Sop far I was thinking M&S, John Lewis, House of Fraser but will add Debenhams to the list.

I just want one decent suit for important meetings and stuff.
Not turning my nose up at the supermarket cheapies but it will get a lot of use.
Guess I would rather buy one decent suit for £100 than 5 **** ones for £20.
Sorry if that puts the sweatshops out of work :)

have you got a designer outlet? we have cheshire oaks macarthur glen-i have never bought a suit but seen them in the windows and seem god prices and choice too..my son is pretty choosey and he shops in a mens outfitters-small place-he has looked round all the stores and ended up there. Its worth a look as these places have a lot of experience and you should get it fitted well.

If you're on a budget, then Tesco, Asda, etc. A bit itchy and won't last that long, but very cheap.
Otherwise, BHS suits aren't too bad. They regularly have 20% off everything and you can get suits for between 40 - 55 quid. Should be another two years before they go shiney! ;-)

Not actually on a budget, but have in the past put aside £150-200 just for the suit as I like one that fits well and is hard wearing.

If there was a really good offer somewhere then I guess at the moment that sort of budget could get me suit, two pairs of suit trousers, belt, shoes and maybe even a shirt or two.

Try Slaters, they are one of the best companies for suits everything upto designer, their prices are really good reasonable, they do the whole package from the ground up.
