I had a 40" samsung lcd which broke and am now on the lookout for a similar size tv (40" - 46") ideally with the following features:
1) Native 120 Hz or above
2) Has at least one USB to play recorded clips from my phone which are 1080p at 60 fps
3) Built in android which can play emulators like amiga ideally using Bluetooth ps3 controller
4) Apps like youtube and iplayer

Not bothered about normal tv as we don't have cable or sky but just use built in apps and would like to have odd game on emulators if possible. Am not up to scratch on current tech - Is there such a tv available or am I living in the clouds? Not bothered if it's not 4k but would like a well known brand.

Thanks

Mame works on my Sony. Although I scrapped trying anything else when I bought a shield. Forum topic below with some screen shots showing some emulators and a PS4 pad working on the Sony Android Range.

Lol ;)
I doubt you're going to find a TV with enough free resources to allow you to emulate most retro platforms and I would strongly recommend against jailbreaking any TV. Your best bet in the budget range will be an Android Box/RetroArch or Raspberry Pi 3 running Retropie. If you have more funds then I would go with an Nvidia Shield or a small NanoPC.

For amiga emulation on android I run Uae4all2 with the Amiga forever essentials rom set as it automatically sets up the rom directories for you rather than manually hunting through your device for the correct directories but it needs to be jailbroken for PS3 wireless control unless you want to control it by USB. Most android boxes should come already jailbroken though.

Thanks for the advice. Was trying to avoid getting an additional box so will probably stick with my wii and portable hard drive for my clips.
Have you tried uae4arm - I find it better than uae4all2 in terms of speed and compatibility

For reference mine was the below model. (got it in Amazon Warehouse sale for £355 - is 2015 model)

Sony KDL-50W807C Smart 3D 50-inch Full HD TV (Android TV, X-Reality Pro, Motionflow XR 800 Hz, Wi-Fi and NFC)

If you do get one first port of call is to check the tv is running the July 2016 Firmware (early models where plagued with issues until the new firmware release - which was first April 2016 and now another July 2016)

This is the model I've been recommended on AV Forum:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-KDL-43W805C-43-inch-X-Reality-Motionflow/dp/B00UPCJ3PQ

Looks very similar to yours - I prefer 43 inch and will probably wait until end of month to see if there's any bank hol discount and will be sure to update to latest firmware - thanks a lot for tips.

Check Richersounds for it as well as they have for same price but with 6 year warranty. Yups defo check the firmware as 2015 model also that one.

Hi, tried uae4arm last night on my LG G4. Managed to set the premissions to access storage and found the Roms but couldn't navigate to where my ADFs were. Looks pretty much like a carbon copy of Uae4All2 though. Found that mouse clicking on anything but my Wikipad is probmatic with it sensing addition clicks for some reason.

Strange it worked fine on my note 4 using dual shock 3 - although I put my roms on the internal storage rather than microsd not sure if that has anything to do woth it. It is very similar to use4all2 that is true.

Kept bouncing me around the file directory and not allowing me to access root. Similar thing happened before I gave it storage premissions to access my Cloanto Roms so could be linked some how.
I'm stuck between /data/data/atua.anddev.uae4arm/ and /files so I guess it's locked to just use that directory. Weird bug but might be platform specific.
