There is a Premier Inn with a beefeater stuck on the side of it (very nice in there too) and a Holiday Inn Express (located at the Snow Dome) about 2 miles away. DM will have their own Hotel this year too.

We stopped at the HI next to Snow Down, and got a brilliant 2for1 deal @ avg of £33 per night for 2 Adults 2 Kids (12 month/6 years)

Just a little Tip (or two re: Tickets/Entry).

DM have put up their prices considerably but have taken to do offers now and again like 2for1 (http://www.draytonmanor.co.uk/tickets.php?sub=2-for-1-offer), also for 2for1 in their local rag

Also, the Adopt a Animal (we adopted a meerkat) scheme entitles you to TWO free entry tickets to the Park. They have two options (prices at October 2010 were £35 adoption inc 2 tickets, for £75 adopt inc 3 tickets)

This tickets are valid for a full 12 months, so will worth it.

As for food, you have a KFC and a Maccy D,s around the corner, and a Beefeater Pub (2mins drive from Holiday Inn). Best off all, its only 10 minutes drive from DM and 1 straight road. I am imagine the DM hotel to be expensive, and for a family of 4 with park entry, you'd be looking at £200 at the very least.
