At the moment, DS Lite's can be gotten for about £85 after using the £10 off £30 discount at ebuyer, otherwise for £79.99 you can get the original DS and a sinle game such as Mario Kart (and maybe sell the Mario Kart to make it cheaper, this usually retails at around £20!) from choicesuk

Thinking of getting a DS also

What is the card called that you buy to run all the games from?

Torrents are also good.

I saw a DS for £69.99 the other day, can't remember where... ended up going for the Lite from Ebuyer for £84 though...

For the card, see the discussion here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64252&page=5

(Note it's not the op item...)

Reliably, but three times the price of other places... I bought an R4 from DealExtreme with a 1GB card for £23 ($45).

I wouldn't recommend buying from anything from DealExtreme......read the discussions forum on their website at the bottom.......the most common post is "Where's my order ?"

I found the R4 software was too complicated for my 5 year old son to use so went for the DS-Extreme as it has an awsome easy to use GUI firmware which is skinnable and upgradable.

£37 EZ-V and 3in1 expansion slot, all you need now are games and micro sd card. This bad boy boots clean roms, runs mp3s and reads basic ebooks and jpgs. Also thanks to the expansion cart it now supports rumble, GBA games and extra ram for the internet browser.

This is a real bargain, im on my third homebrew set-up and this is the best so far. Picked up a 1gig micro Sd card for £6 and havent looked back. Any questions PM me.
