Woolworth's have a 4 day sale on and are selling DS lite's with 2 games for £99.

or if you buy from boots.com the DS is £99, use the code PJDH77 for a £10 discount. They also are doing triple points which gives you about £12 back. And finally if you go through quidco you save a further £3.50

Total price approx. £73.50
#6
Thanks people, is the woolworths deal online or instore aswell?
#7
Best place to get a DS lite is Game or a local equivilent and buy a pre-owned one.

I have seen some cheap ones and if you check the pre-owned games too there is sure to be some suitable for a 6 year old.

http://www.cex.co.uk do them second hand for £90 - not a fabulous deal - but no strings, no quidco, no points, no complications. Also, you can get it massively cheaper by trading in a few of those old mobile phones that you've got in that drawer in the kitchen ;)
#9
£90 second hand?

i would rather pay a tenner more and get a new one.
#10
Just tried the woolworths one and the two games are not available
#11

It ends today i believe, its instore the games your supposed to have with it are tomb raider and bionicle heroes, but most stores are sold out of the games so they allow you to pick and two £19.99 games instead.

Brain Training was one....can't remember the rest. Just give them a call - I don't believe this deal has an expiry date - has been going on for the last month or so.

I think it consists of 3 styli, a carry case/cover for the DS and a screen protector or screen wipe...
#25
Thanks - unfortunately 3week delivery for pink & need within this time for daughters birthday!

Thanks anyway
#26
Just read thro links - lengthy deliver seems to be common with much quicker seen by some - have give it a go (fingers crossed!).

Thanks again

I've had a quick look in Blockbuster. They have 2 DS lite bundles.

The one for £99.99 comes with a free game (from a choice of about 16 - including More Brain Training, Revenge of the Sith, Bomberman, Ice Age 2, 42 Classics, Pirates of the Carribean etc can't remember the rest). Also comes with a starter pack - this consists of 3 styli, a carry case/cover, screen protector and screen cleaning cloth.

The £109 bundle is the same except you can choose any game you like.

I just ordered a white DS Lite from http://www.greatuniversal.com/ for £59.05!
http://img457.imageshack.us/img457/4834/dsxc4.jpg

The only slight issue is the 4 week delivery time (3 weeks for DSL black).
If you interested use the following codes:

XX230 for 20% off
ZG0333 for £30 off
ZQ298 for £2.95 off
Check out http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93413 for more info
Update: This deal appears to have expired + i thought i should add that code stacking isnt guarantee'd to work

Naksa, what were the codes for? When I tried using them it said the £30 doesn't apply to CC payments, and it accepted the 20% off promotion, but didn't display any amount against it.

Thanks Charlie Brown

All I get is £115 reduced to £92 (£25 off for first time customer), less £2.95 comes to £89.
#30
they wont hold up that deal great universal are connected to littlewoods who charged me £92 for using more than 1 code, so i cancelled and got my money back
#31
sainsburies had them in for £69.99 last week... They are supposed to be getting more in (the wife works for them) within the next week
#32
Are Sainsburys only doing them instore or on line?
Thanks

Update: just phoned my local branch, they said they're 99.99 (same price as last week) and aren't aware of any promotions.

Don't suppose you have any more info on it.

Thanks.
