I've tried using the TV speakers & soundbar & changing the HDMI cable but nothing work. TV sound on anything else is working fine.

Redo the settings, usually fixes the problem. Try it on another tv if it doesn't work, so you know where the problem lies if there is one.

Yes I must try another TV later. Messed around with the sound settings on the TV with no luck & there's no settings on the system.

Found a Reddit with four people with the same problem. All have a Samsung TV live myself.

I had intermittent sound with my soundbar. The way to fix the issue was to turn it off and output the sound through the TV speakers.

Did it through the TV and it didn't work. Tried it on a LG TV & it worked. Guess it a problem with some Samsung TVs. Changed every settings & still nothing. Guess I'll keep it in the bedroom until I find a solution.
The length of the controller lead is a joke. I have to sit really close to the TV.

When I lug my laptop HDMI into my Samsung TV to watch movies I have to then turn the TV off and on again for the sound to play through the TV or use the AV sockets.

Not sure if it's the TV or HDMI cable I am using.
