I had a 5800 but couldn't get along with it

Bit bulky, feels a bit cheap and the touch-screen isn't as responsive as i'd like

It's for OH, he's a bit heavy handed with phones TBH - he's had more phones than I've had hot dinners - not cos he likes updating them but because he has an incredible knack for breakin them, is there some kind of protective case you can get for these touch screen phones?
#3
Yeah it comes with some god-awful plastic thing in the box. You can buy better ones though i assume

Seriously though if he breaks phones as much as i do, you'll be better off looking at something else

Has to be a touch-screen?
#4
Yeah, these are the only 2 he has any interest in. What would you recommend?

5800, when you get used to it it is fantastic. As not had any experience with the other phones your asking about, might sound a bit like a nokia favourtist! Used to got for sony erissons which i loved to bits as really easy to use and did excatly what i asked it to. This nokia does the same and is really cool!

Good point that. Didn't bother with a protector on mine and sctratched the middle of the screen almost instantly
#9
What's an invisisheild, is it supplied with phone or buyable off Ebay?

well for months i wanted a tocco and the other day i could have had one, so i had a little try first ,call it a test drive :) had enough after 5 mins... could not handle the texin on a touch screen, was a nightmare trying to select a contact think i'm best off sticking to phones with keys:). Prob just me and my age 33 but switched it off and gave it straight back..... but thats only my opinion im sure other people love it...

Obviously each to their own but if it's the Tocco Ultra then this has a keypad as well so you can text using "normal" keys!

With the 5800 you can just write on the screen with the stylus and it is translated into text. it works brilliantly.

also the 5800 has wifi the tocco doesn't, tocco looks better imo
