Looking for the Nokia N80 on contract, roughly 600-800 Mins XNET & 400 texts.

Prefer a 12 month contract, but 18 month if cheaper will do!

Hope to get lots of replies!!!!

1st time request!!!!!:-D

Few questions for you:

Do you have an existing contract? If so is it close to expiring?

Which provider do you prefer (O2, Orange etc.)?

Are you happy with a cashback deal?

Current contract due to expire in October, 2-3 months left, with O2 Online, but not fussed about what network to change to.

I know O2 aren't cheap with this phone, certainly not as cheap as say, 3 or Orange!

I can get it on Orange PAYG £349 in Littlewoods, but I would prefer to stay on contract and get a good deal!

I want this phone for its looks and its WiFi... only reason I am choosing it over the new sony ericsson is the WiFi it has!

Help appreciated!

O2 are doing VERY good deals on upgrades, however it depends on your current monthly spend as to just how low you can get them down to/how good a deal. Don't just take the first thing they offer, bargain hard and blag it by saying Orange (or whoever) are doing a better deal (look online to find the deals).
N.B. O2 are lowering prices within the next month. Insiders say:
Not Too Much Can Be Revealed But Its Happening On July 13th

There Will Be Some Great New 18 Month Tariffs

And a shake up of 12 Month Tariffs

Its not specific to 3G Handsets

But There is gonna be an extra special offer @ O2 Stores

O2 online will not change

Don't forget you shouldn't be looking at just the phone cost but the cost of the overall package :)

If you don't want to go the upgrade route and you want a contract then you cannot do better than a cashback deal. There are a lot of companies out there doing them, for example www.e2save.com which has deals with each network (and has black N80).

Likewise and I've had the black version for about 5 weeks now :) Lovely phone with lots of features :)

I believe 3 direct are doing some great deals at the moment..N80 with lots of minutes/texts with 6 months half price line rental (automatic...? no cashback redemption required?) - 18 month contract though I believe!

I ve had the N80 since it was first released on Orange, great phone though you ll have to watch the battery a little and the wifi wasnt as fun as I hoped it d be! But overall it's the best all round phone there is! :)

You may or may not be interested in this deal but i'll say it anyway

I've got a NOKIA N80 - BRAND NEW and Unlocked (with black fascia). I'm selling it for £280 - had it for 2 weeks, not used so need to get rid of it.

You could buy this for £280 - save £70 from the contract metioned above and then get a 12 month free line rental from which ever network you want from some company.

(Oh and you could sell the phone you get with the contract for maybe about £70 and save altogether £140!!!!!).

PM if you are interested.

id stick with o2 if i were you...
remember, 3 lock all thier handsets for a start, so the deal you get with o2 is better than it looks, especially as all these new N series phones are almost impossible to unlock unless you get unlock code from the network provider (and in 3's case, they can be a nightmare to get it from).

Also they quote u crazy upgrade prices when you first go to upgrade on o2, but my friend got the N80 down from £219, to £59.99. Which is the Same as Orange were offering to new customers.
They applied the savings via reductions on tariff, and knocking the phone to £179.99, then £10 off monthly bill.

All you have to seem to do, is phone back up, talk to retentions, and ask for your pac code... normally they'll offer you the deal straight away, but if not, still ask for the pac code and cancellation papers, you dont have to fill them in, and someone will normally phone you back trying to get them to stay.

Why we have to go through this hassle every year with them to get the same deals as new customers i dont know, but i suppose its not too bad seeing as the phones unlocked!!
