hi my dad wants norton internet security 2010 he already as 2009 but wants the disc version do i need to buy the whole package or can i get a upgrade???
who is selling this the cheapest ive seen it at around the £30 mark for the whole package but im sure i can get cheaper any help would be greatly appreciated

PC World tend to do Norton IS every year at around £24. Usually starts in the next week or two and then they do it again in the new year sales, possibly Staples too.
...sigh, predict the usual posts coming...AVG is free, Norton is rubbish etc...

yes im expecting that as well thanks any way checked there site and it £23.99 same as currys no surprise as they are they same company.
I use kasperkys myself as im a barclays custumer and get it free but my dad as always used norton and is set in is ways so ill be ignoring the usual comments as this is what he wants.

Should have added, it is the 3 licence version at that price. I saw 2009 1 licence version in Tesco a few days ago. 2009 works fine and a year of updates and pretty good protection for that price seems fair to me. Not sure what the 2010 version will add, just some marketing hype i would guess.

pc world/currys doing the 2010 3 licence version for £23.99 reserved a copy cheers

if you look on ebay you can get norton 2010 for around £12 upwards some you get the disc some you get the code and download . if you download you can burn it to disc.

yes i believe thats the oem disc id rather pay the extra i know its no difference except for packaging but as it a present and fdor my dad id rather have it in the box or he would probably think its a dodgy copy and not use it (he is a bit old fashoined)
