As our daughter is coming up to 4 months the wife thinks I should be making efforts to equip her nursery.... Anybody know of any good deals on cot-beds, wardrobes & tallboy drawers? Toys r us had a nice cot-bed but its out of stock, so any deals gratefully recieved. Thanks

These guys have some great stuff, its a bit more expensive than mothercare, but well made and will last the few years until power rangers are required.

Tesco Direct had some lovely stuff that had good reductions... They might be worth checking out but the stuff on there sells out quickly... :)

Edit: Looks like there's only the dresser left (out of the stuff I was talking about) But it's soooo cute!

We went to IKEA and got a cot from there
They have quite a few:

I recommend getting matching wardrobe etc from the adults ranges - that way you can carry on using them as your baby grows. I think that 'child' furniture is a waste of money. We bought a 'leksvig' triple wardrobe for our 6 month old (link given), and we've filled it (clothes in the wardrobe part, toys, bedding, nappies etc in the shelving part). The matching chest of drawers makes a great changing unit.

We just picked a cot that went with the wardrobe and chest of drawers that we liked ... we've been using the room in earnest now for 2 months, and every time I go in it I love the furniture.

Hope this helps
