I just finished last week and was offered £19.58 per month 600 mins and 1200 texts plus free internet, which I thought was a good deal.

Wouldn't be happy with that, they don't do the internet in this area at present.
Last time (18 months ago) they gave me 400 mins, 1000 texts & unlimited O2 to O2 for £14.68p a month and gave me £175 credit so over the 18 months it averaged just under £5 month.
