So I have had my OP3 for just under 2 weeks - my 14 days runs out tomorrow.

I'm based in London and am using EE network and on my LG G2 I had no issues, however with the OP3 my mobile data will randomly drop and it sometimes comes back on itself but the quickest way is to airplane mode it.

Anyone have any idea if this is a hardware problem as I've heard it could be the processor?

I guessing you have powered off phone and then on again. This fixes some problems. Made sure network settings are correct and you will find out how on ee website. Looked to see if any known mast trouble in you area online. I know it's a pain but factory reset phone. If none of the above works and your phone continues to play up everywhere then return it...

I'm having the exact same problem as you but I'm on the Three network, OnePlus know about the problem it should get fixed on the next OTA update (Hopefully) Hope it helps you make your mind up.

Ah sweet! I was at a real loss as to what to do but if it's a software thing then I'll keep it (can't be bother with the hassle of deciding on a new phone! lol)
Is yours when you move away from the wifi?

All metal phones sometimes have less reception because the signal cannot penetrate it, this is why these phones have antenna lines.

Also, sometimes clearing cache helps. You can go into recovery mode by clicking power and volume down during boot, then wipe data and cache, and the only select wipe cache (do not wipe data)

Ok cool, might try this if the next update doesn't solve. Thanks
