Hi. I wanted to know what you guys out there think...

I've never really owned a flagship phone so was thinking about treating myself. Money isn't exactly tight but I want to make the most of it. I've decided upon getting the oneplus 3t 128gb version direct from oneplus. It came back into stock today. I don't really change my phones so whatever I buy I'm looking to keep for a number of years. I changed from the moto g first gen (great phone) only last year to the Xperia M4 Aqua (huge mistake) as it was on sale.

So I just wanted to know what you all think. I was reading the new Motorola was due out end of February and mostly likely to be part of the G series. I'm not in a great rush to buy a phone so should I hold off on the 3t? However, I've had enough of this M4 to be honest.

Also, does anyone know of any promo/voucher codes for oneplus?

Oneplus 3 and 3T are great.

From what I've read on various tech blogs, this is the one of the better made, upper tier Androids around with a good price/feature ratio. The weakest point in it is said to be the screen quality, which is subjective, and the camera, again, subjective. A work colleague of mine has it, and it is a nice phone and one that is seriously consider upgrading to. As for future proofing, much of that is down to the development of Android. But I'm sure this should get you through at least another 18 months in the mobile world.

Just go for the OnePlus 3T, you won't regret it.
And there are no vouchers with them, already cheap enough.

it is a very good value flagship device (I have the op3)
I'm like you in that I don't change my phone that often. I opted for it because it ticked all my boxes: price, spec and Dev support (oneplus seem to have got their act together on OS updates too). I envisage that will last me a good 2-3 years before I get itching to change

go for the op2 at half the price.

From what I've been reading, having facebook and facebook messenger installed on these can lead to the phone running very hot and draining the battery. Everyone I've seen with this problem suggests not installing facebook and/or messenger. Had seriously considered this phone Vs Google Pixel XL

rubbish, Facebook and messenger have been culprits of causing a lot of android phones to run hot and drain the battery this week not just this one.
I don't run Facebook on mine but I do use messenger and have had no such problems.

The phone is brilliant. im using one myself, however buying from oneplus is okay but if you have any issues with the your device the customer service is really poor.
I have had a couple of issues with oneplus CS and it took nearly 4 months for them to sort from start to finish, and ended up with me having to demand a refund and getting the phone through O2 (who i was with already), yhe next issue was related to the first and took 2 months to resolve.
I have some reassurance now that I can actually get to an O2 store and talk to someone 'relatively sensible' if something was to go awry.

As i said the phone is proper good!

I tried 3t and loved the phone but I found the battery drained very quickly and I don't have Facebook or Facebook messenger running. Decided to return it!!!

Completely irrelevant iphone memory information that offers nothing except an insight into your psychological need (maybe you feel you haven't made it to where you consider the 'top', maybe you think others look down on you, maybe you're compensating for something you believe you lack, or maybe you're thirteen years old).

I've got to go to work now, I hope you have a great day. I'll probably take the less powerful Porsche today. No!!! That's something you would say. ****!
