Hello all,

Looking to play some online poker (real money), can anyone recommend some good bonuses to take advantage of? Free gifts, sign-up bonuses etc...

Cheers

Hello mate, may I just mention never ever sign up for a poker account without first going through a rakeback site.

What these do is give you a chunk of your money back each month that the poker company has taken in rake. I use these and they pay up on time every time:

http://rakebackcodes.com/ (The money goes direct into your poker account at the end of each month. :)

Just look for a site with the best rake back. I like Sun Poker. They use the Crypto software which is the same as William Hill and they let you gamble in £ as well as $, oh and Sun Poker give you a massive 30% in rake back which can work out a hell of a lot of cash back at the end of the month if your a regular player.

If you already have an account with a site you like playing and you want rake back. Try uninstalling the whole software from your computer and sign up with another card if you have one. Or just use another PC in your house without the software installed, then use your second card to sign up. Once this is done you should be able to go back to your first computer and sign in with your new account. (I think, never actually done it myself), worth a try if your in that situation.

Hope this helps.

Thanks beerman, I had heard of rakeback deals before. I usually just play heads up online but I suppose its best going through a rakeback offer. I will look into it.

Much appreciated.

I only ever play heads up too. Go through rake back, it can give you thousands back over the year. Trust me mate.

Have a look at http://www.yourpokercash.com/. I used this site when I first started playing for money.

Or you could go through http://www.ipoints.co.uk.

Good luck!!

I have decided to go through the rakeback scheme but I just do not know who to join. I intend to make this the one I stick with. Debit card deposits and withdrawals are a must. Good promotions/tournaments are also important. Think FultTilt might be the solution...

Have a look at http://www.pokerlistings.com/, they review most of the sites and sometimes have extra bonuses.

IMO one of the best sites is www.poker.com

With rakeback sites you have to usually send them copies of your ID which I am not a fan of. Also, www.wasscasino.com lists good bonuses etc.

No you don't. Rakebackcodes.com were perfect for me, I just signed up with the poker company and then sent rakebackcodes.com my username, they then pay direct into my poker username account at the end of each month. Not once did I ever have to give them any bank details or anything.

The poor thing with bonuses etc is it's one off payment, you deposit £100 they may give you £100 as a bonus and mostly they only realease this if you play certain games etc.

Once that has been used that is it, but with rakeback you get a massive amount of your rake everymonth.

Lets say I sit at a table heads up with £100. I clean a few people out over say a 4 hour period, but by doing this it has been hard work and money has been back and forward loads of times.

Lets say in total I now have £600 in front of me, but in reality there has been £750 going back and forward. (The company has took £150 rake, I get 30% of that back at the end of the month and that is in just one session. My rake back would be half of the £150 as we have both put this amount in (£75 each) Imagine playing every day for the whole month and doing close to those figures every day. That is 31 days x £25 rakeback. That is a hell of a lot better than any poxy sign up bonuses.

I have been playing online poker for about 4 years now and rakeback is the best deal in online poker. Anyone who ignores is it quite simply stupid or just blumming well so rich they can't be arsed with it.

Beerman, tempted by Sun Poker. However, you can only withdraw the amount of money you deposited via a debit card which is pretty disappointing. Would prefer to do all my transactions this way but if I build my account up I won't be able to withdraw it via my card.

If there is a refer-a-friend bonus I will state your username...

Give me a few minutes mate, in middle of backgammon tourney, will have a look.

Yeah I know what you mean about your debit card. I use a debit card too and have to accept cheque for withdrawal. I prefer WIlliam Hill but they do not do rake back from what I can gather.

I got into online Poker when Quidco first came on the scene, with all the attractive cashbacks and bonus dollars. Be warned though, it is highly addictive, I have stopped playing now after a good friend admitted to losing £130,000 on internet Poker. He ended up playing high stake tables and sometimes won £30,000 - £40,000 in a night but his luck ran out.
There are also bots that play on these sites, they play the percentages and are hard to beat.
There are far more losers than winners.:!:

P.S When Quidco first came out there were a lot more lucrative gambling cashbacks available. Done ok myself but fingers burnt a few times chasing bonuses.

Hey,

You can registered with Poker Strategy, it has some pretty good Poker training and they give you up to $150 free to play at Partpoker. You get the first $50 just for registering with PartyPoker through them (No credit card needed) and you get another $100 after you've played 5000 raked hand.
You just need to take a easy little poker quiz before getting your money.
Good luck!

Hi ,

I can totally recommend VC poker. This is particulary good for heads up (they only charge 5% rake whereas other sites charge at least 10%). They also do 3 daily value tournies- a $1rebuy, $3rebuy and $5rebuy with $1000, $1500 and $2000 guaranteed respectively with number of players being on average 100 for the $1 rebuy, and 60 for the $3 and $5 rebuy. Therefore the overall is huge (typically $600 overlay in $1 rebuy, $1000 overall in $5rebuy and $600 overall in $3 rebuy.
Furthermore they do a bi-weekly $500 freeroll which usually has around 500 entants (but if you play a bit more they do vip freerolls of excess of $1k with only 60 odd runners)

If you sign up via www.vcpoker.com/bm/manc you will get a further 10%rakeback and if you use the bonus code VALUE600 you will also get 300% deposit match bonus

Any questions please dont hesitate to ask (i play on 8 differnt sites with profits of over $25k playing low/medium stake mtts and have tried many more sites so i know what i am talking about)
