Son not home for Xmas :- ( Teaching 200 miles from Bankok. Just found out lots of parents sending bits over for Xmas. Have put bits together chocolate, tinsel, nothing valuable.

Got quote from Royal Mail, at least £70 to send, DHL £130!!!

Would I be better of splitting the box into smaller mail sized items. No way I can afford those sort of prices.

Anyone got any suggestions who else to use?

I think you've missed the last posting date for Xmas delivery with RM
Returning an unwanted mail order bride?
what are the dimensions of the box you are sending and weight?

Ill try see if i can find a cheaper price
Try transglobal, I send quite alot of parcel to Asia via them with DHL & UPS, normally 4kg around £40.... depend on the size of the box.
Try parcel2go
Split it into small parcels that weigh less than 2 kg. These can then go RM small packet rate.
