Parcelmonkey / CityLink Issue :O(

Hi All,

Ordered and paid for a service via Parcelmonkey to pick up and courier a package abroad (Europe). This was ordered BEFORE Christmas. Should have been picked up next day and SHOULD have arrived BEFORE Christmas.

No pick up and no feedback!!!! Service ordered was Parcelmonkey Air Mail. I've emailed via my account but as many of you all know they have no contact number. Now with all the sorry issues with CityLink, I am losing hope can anyone advise as I have paid for the service already :O(

If anyone can advise then that would be great! :O) I want the service but if they cannot provide this then I want a refund in order to book elsewhere and quickly.....

Latest update as to why there might be issues.
To be honest you are very lucky! - The fact the parcel wasn't collected by City Link certainly puts you in a better position than others, with it being 'stuck' in their system now they have gone into administration.

Contact Parcel Monkey and they will be able to give you a refund, you can then rebook with another courier service.

I'm just awaiting PM's feedback....will keep you all posted. Hopefully the feedback I give will help out other HUKD members in the same predicament.

I wish PM had the decency to put a message on their homepage.......

On Christmas Day (25th December) 2014, City Link announced that due to 'substantial losses' the company has gone into administration.

Unfortunately, this means that some Parcel Monkey customers will be affected:

Those who have parcels in the City Link network currently
Those who have made bookings for collections in the future
Please note that Parcel Monkey compare prices for a number of different courier providers. So although we're unable to offer a City Link service going forward, it's business as usual at Parcel Monkey and we have a selection of alternative courier services available to book online right now with more options coming very soon.

If your City Link booking has been collected but not yet delivered:

The official statement from City Link is that customers will be able to collect parcels from depots within the City Link network. At this time we're working with City Link to determine exactly how that will proceed.

If you believe your City Link item has been collected but not yet delivered, please contact our support team to let us know. We'll then keep you updated as soon as we have more information about how those parcel(s) can be either delivered to their destination or returned to sender.

If you had a City Link booking that has not yet been collected

You should have received an email informing you that you will receive a full refund. If you have not received such an email, please contact our support team who can assist you.

So I should get a refund......sooner rather then later I hope!!
