hi does anybody know a good payg deal that doesnt need bt line ? im told virgin nol onger do this service so bit gutted my father in law 75 and just got him a pc from freecycle and dont wanna get tied into expensive conbtract if not somehting he gonna use ? he may not get on with it so payg looks best option atm any ideas would be gratefully recieved donna x

they have virgin landland they dont wish to change x and to get talk talk must be bt line x

Virgin do a broadband package with their phoneline, which if iirc is not very much more if not the same as the phone package alone, I might be wrong though...

well foning tomorrow but long time to wait for installation at mo and tied in to 12m contract x

Maybe worth while looking at PAYG mobile broadband as well. Some good deals going around where you get the usb dongle and 12gb of usage for less than £100. So if he just checks his emails, surfs a few pages this should last him the best part of a year, and theres no wires or routers or telephone lines required. :thumbsup:

100 quid omg lol way way too much thanks for help but we can get a usb on my virgin acc for fiver a month but again tied to 12 m also o2 do broadband at 7.50 a month but cantt find details on website as to if needs to be bt line and again 12m tied in x

atm its "from" £8 per month, 12m contract, so £100 for the year. its a canny service too

the broadband package is 9pm but 3 months half price at 4.50 and still tied in to 12m sounds liek o2 is best bet need to knwo if needs to be bt line
