Hi,

So I paid £35 to buy an item on eBay. £20 of this was from my PayPal balance, the rest was from my debit card.

The seller has now refunded me since I returned it. The refund just says pending and says it's to my paypal balance.

Will the entire amount credit my balance, or will the £15 from my card be refunded back.

Thanks

In my experience with PayPal it goes back into whatever account it came from. Though your PayPal account might credit your account quicker than bank account. My bank account took 4 working days.
Hope this helps

it will go back to as it was, £20 balance, £15 back to the original card

call them up and ask them usually they do it faster if you ask them , the only reason they hold it is because they make money from it

I called them. They said that the whole amount will go back to my paypal balance. I thought the £15 that came from my card would go back to my card?

5 - 7 Working days it'll take...

the lot will go to your PayPal account

If the seller has no balance in PayPal, it will take a few days, usually you will me notified by email too say your eCheque has cleared, this is why it's states " pending ".

I actually thought you'll have it as Paypal balance?

So £35 will be in your PP account..

You will have new paypal balance of £35 from where you can withdraw to your debit card.
