What does the £130 include?

Is this for the whole system unit (case/PSU, m'board, memory, CPU, hard disk, DVD drive) or do you have some of it already?.

If you have not got any parts already you will be really struggling at £130. You ill be lucky to get a m'board + CPU + memory for much less than £100.

Here is a motherboard + memory + cpu for £93

And another as just over £100

As your a fellow spurs fan , We need to know what your brother needs it for. Gaming , multimedia , video editing , or just browsing?

Plays poker online a lot his current pc is a 1.5 sempron with a fx5500 graphics card but getting a little slow was looking at maybe getting a dual core.

Sure but for this money you would just about afford a motherboard and processor . Processor would have to be a low model that you overclock.
This would not be upgradeable as you would have to replace the mobo processor memory etc in the future.
Check out Custom pcs website .

Heres the link http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/

Was looking on ebay and you can get some good deals with the motherboard processor and ram for £50 already have pc case and graphics card.

Can you butcher anything out of his current PC, like the Hard Drive and DVD Drive, maybe the case?? if you can you do it.... but what you said about the ACER not being upgradable, any full setup you buy for only £130 will not be upgradable anyway as you will have to use the older type parts

Extra Value 1GB DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400 240pin Extra Value Ram 120640 £16.90

If you want to get the whole lot here is the cheapest, you could get it a little cheaper buy saving £5 on the Power Supply and £5 by getting a DVD drive rather then a DVD rewriter. I have left the quick find numbers in. This is using older Tech though AM2 Mobo and CPU & Ram, so if you want to upgrade it you would have to buy all 3 of them in the future, the Hard Drive is small but maybe ok for him

Like others have said, you need to use parts from his old PC or pay more

only need cpu and motherboard & ram.

Then the one i have given you is ok and is 21p less then your £130, if you added £40 you could get a nice Quadcore and a better mobo
