Hi, i currently have a XBOX MEDIA CENTRE-xbmc, A PC, A HD READY SONY TV WHICH I HAVE A BOUGHT, AND A PIONEER XBOX 360 SURROUND SYSTEM AND A XBOX 360!

How can i best utilise my options?

Id like to connect pc to the VGA, how would i get sound, it has A hdmi port& vga but not a dvi, does DVI make a difference?

Can i connect my Surround sound speakers to the pc? would i need a 5.1 card or would it be better to get external pc speakers? ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?

Xbox media centre- I NOW HAVE A ADVANCED SCART LEAD WITH SVIDEO AND OPTICAL OUTPUT!

If i want to watch films downstairs, can i do this using my xbox and pc?

Connect PC via VGA, and to get the audio you will need a 3.5mm double ended cable. Can be picked up for little money.

Then from the TV, I use a double ended audio - red/white to connect from TV to sound system. The sound from the PC should then come out the sound system. Not sure what ports are on the Pioneer, but the example I've given are basic ports, and should be there,

3.5mm jack. Yes, same as earphones. You need the 3.5 on both sides. Check to see if your PC and TV have these slots. They should do. You need this for audio since your connecting PC via VGA.

Thats the audio cable I use.

I have no idea via 5.1, as I currently use a 2.1. Im guessing you should be able to use optical cable though for better connectivity.
