Hi I was just wandering comparing the two tv's above. I am in the position having ordered bought but can only keep one. I like the idea of philips being android and i can side load kodi instantly. Is this possible with hisense ? The prices are about the same. Which ones would you go for ? Or do you own any of the above. thanks

They are both good TVs, the prices are not the same though, you could have bought Hisense for £270 or so back when it was on sale :) As for android, I personally would rather buy an android box as it will be faster than the TV so easier to use but it is up to you. I bought S905X 2GB Ram version from Gearbest for £25 when it was on sale, great little device and fast too :)

I have the Hisense H43M3000 and while it has smart features as bandit17 said I'd personally go for a android box myself as it offers more than Hisense has. Don't get me wrong as it does have a app store but it's very limited. But apps like Netflix, BBC iplayer and Amazon are included. As far as I know Kodi on the Hisense is a no go!

Ive had both now and prefer the Philips but the smart features on both tvs has been very lacking and Kodi resets itself every other day at least on the Philips.

H43M3300 (maybe you mean 40" H40M3300) doesn't exist but I do have the 43" H43M3000 and love it. I don't use the app store or anything like that since I already have a android box which I'd probably want over a inbuilt android in TV tbh.

H43M3000 can be had for sub £400 (I bought mine from AO for ~£399), not sure on the Philips but looks to be £50+ more. I'd spend £30-40 on a half decent android box.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you mean you lose all the add ons and data on kodi
