I am on the hunt for a Philips WACS7000/05 Wireless Music Centre and Station ( 80gb hard drive )

Anyone got any sites/codes where I can grab this please.
Cheapest I found so far is £539.99

Or do you have thoughts / ideas on another wireless setup?

Cheers folks.
Adrian.

NAS stands for Network Access Storage. Think of it as file server.

You can get something Buffalo Linkstation and put all your music onto it (guess 500GB is enough?)
Then go to PCWorld and get Logik IR100 internet radio.
This is the simplest setup I can think of.

I just foudn this, which is EXACTLY what I want

http://www.johnlewis.com/Technology/Audio+and+Hi-Fi/Hi+Fi+Systems/Wireless+Music+Players/1332/230427758/Product.aspx

But its more expensive than if I buy through DABS as DABS do all 3 for £637.08 ( £649.05 including delivery ). But am I right in thinking that John Lewis do some form of pricematch? And also if I buy through JL they offer a 5 year guarantee on everythign you purchase?

Is this correct?
If so, how do I go about contacting JL to see about them doign a price match?

Thanks folks

You can have same kit from Dixons for 588.05 delivered.

For some reason, to get this price you must go through Google link then click on Dixons link on top. Don't know why it doesn't work straight away.

As to JL - warranty is 2 years and they don't price match internet prices.

Ruddy ell, your not wrong £588 deleivered, wowsers, so far thats the cheapest for all 3. Thank you eveyr much for that Kommunist... I love kommunism ( i think ).

Any cheaper anywhere else, I am greedy now :-D

P.S Can I also use Quidco?

Can't find anything cheaper than that unless you can live with WACS700/05 (previous generation, 40GB HDD) - it is 400 quid from Philips outlet store for base+station.

Think I like the idea of 80gb, gives me longer listening time to drown out the wifes chatter.

Can I use my quidco to buy the setup at £588?

Dunno :) You can try to go from Quidco and then use DISC31 voucher.
